There’s nothing quite like a cryptic snippet of information to start tongues wagging and salivating, and it looks like Pete Hines, Vice President of PR and Marketing at Bethesda, knows how to work the machine.
As the title suggests, Pete divulged just this tiny tidbit and no more:
“Some things coming down the road in April for all you Rage and Skyrim fans. April is gonna have some cool news and surprises. Stay tuned.”
Rage looked magnificent, but was a tad clunky in execution
While we could spend all day pontificating over what is going to be announced, the most remarkable aspect of this is the lumping-together of the two. It is no secret that Skyrim was all but placed on a pedestal as the ‘omg-greatest-rpg-of-all-timez’, while Rage… Well, not so. Plagued by launch bugs, specifically on PC, the game was nothing short of a marketing nightmare. That said, perhaps they are hoping that some of the hype and praise for Skyrim will rub off onto Rage, or at least bring them into some sort of balance. In any case, stay tuned for April!
Rage and Skyrim are available on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
